Carly Del Mastro-Magri - Artistic Director

Carly is an accomplished performer who began dancing at age 4 at Karen Curlis School of Dance. In her teen years she danced with Western Academy of Dance and Lauren Down’s Dance Connection where she completed her CSTD Syllabus and gained experience performing on stage.

When Carly commenced secondary school she became heavily involved in the Rock Eisteddfod. In Year 11 and 12 she was appointed choreographer and worked alongside a team of choreographers teaching over 100 children in one class. The Rock Eiesteddfod was then selected to tour the UK with a performance group made up of the best Rock Eisteddfod Performers.

After Secondary College Carly was offered a place with Tony Bartuccio Dance and Promotion. She studied extensively all areas of the performing arts on a full time basis. Upon graduating she was awarded a Certificate in Musical Theatre and Commercial Dance and was offered a teaching position at Tony Bartuccio’s Studio's.

In addition she holds a VICFIT Certificate specializing in Fitness Instructing, Sports Coaching, Nutrition, Pilates Mat Level 1 Teaching Certificate and Certificate in Event's Marketing & Management. Carly continues to study and learn. Her motto is - Always keep learning! Furthermore she has many TV credits dancing in both film and television commercials and was a choreographic assistant for the Melbourne Commonwealth Games. Carly has performed cabaret shows in well known venues around Victoria. Carly has choreographed and performed in many corporate events and private businesses.

She has had extensive experience teaching children and adults of all ages. She has taught with Generation 7 as a Jazz, funk and singing Teacher and at Tony Bartuccio’s Dance & Promotion Centre teaching various dance styles. As a teacher Carly encourages students to find their own style, promoting individuality. With a personable approach to teaching she inspires confidence allowing students to reach their optimal performance level. Her eye for detail and dedication to dance is evident in her teaching style. In July 2007 Carly headed to New York City - Broadway and gained a certificate of achievement at Broadway Dance Center New York. She was taught by well know choreographers such as "So you think you can Dance" judges- Mia Micheals, Brian Friedman & Cris Judd.

In 2008 she began a family, Carly says that motherhood has given her a new perspecitve of teaching dance and has a better understanding in the value of early childhood dance education in a positive safe learning environment.

She trusts that fusion one has an impact on all participants and continues to encourage adults and children to improve fitness through dance and regular exercise.


Samual Gaskin - Dance Teacher

Samual has worked with Jessica Mauboy, Guy Sebastian, Ricki Lee, Vanessa Amarossi, Aria Awards, Nickelodeon kids choice awards, TV week Logies, Hairspray the musical, The Jungle Book Musical .....just to name a few! He currently he teachers at Jason Coleman's Ministry of Dance and other well known dance schools around Melbourne. He is a a true industry professional that has been there and done that and is still doing it!

New Zealand born, Samuel has a cultural background comprising of African, New Zealand and European roots. From an early age Sam has always had a passion and natural gift for dance and entertainment. Sam’s natural flair and ability to engage an audience saw him dancing and acting throughout his childhood. Sam has been dancing professionally for almost 18 years, and has been trained in Funk, Hip Hop and Jazz at studios such as Tony Bartuccios, The Space, Dance Factory, DW301 and United Styles. He completed a year of full time study with Robert Sturrock where his knowledge of dance styles expanded to an even higher degree.

TV/Film credits consist of Orange, Neighbors, Angry Boys, The Secret Life Of Us, Skit House, Sit Down Shut Up and various commercials. His dance/singing credits include:

Sam was signed to Scene Model Management after being spotted at a Bachelor of The Year competition which saw him break into the modeling world. To his credit he has completed parades for designers Trimapee, CMS, Louis Epstein, Adidas, Cactus Jam, G-Star ,Sunglass Hut and Bonds to name a few. He has been featured in two Jay Jays campaigns the Herald Sun and Menstyle magazine .

Sam teaches his own unique style of funk and hip-hop at most leading dance schools around Melbourne and has become a highly respected member of the FX Entertainment Australia Professional Entertainers an Dance/Entertainment community. In 2009 Sam was cast as Mowgli in Hit productions national tour of the Jungle Book and has played the role of Duane in the Australian production of “Hairspray”. Sam gives 100% to any project he undertakes and is dedicated to bettering himself constantly as an all round performer.


 

 

Shaelle Anderson - Dance Teacher

 

Shaelle started dancing when she was young and has loved it ever since.
Shaelle has graduated from a two year full time course at Jason Coleman's Ministry of Dance and now holds a Diploma of Dance and a Certificate IV in Dance Teaching and Management . Shaelle trained in the following styles hip hop, commercial, jazz, tap, ballet, musical theatre and contemporary. She has also trained in Brazilian styles including Samba, Afro jazz and Lambada.
Shaelle has also been a qualified gymnastics coach for two years now. She is currently working at YMCA Whittlesea, teaching gymnastics to younger gymnasts. She is regularly working for professional dance companies on weekends to keep her passion for dance.
Shaelle's studies gave her the knowledge and skills needed to pass onto other dancers. She is passionate about dancing and excited to help others learn what she has learnt throughout her training.
Shaelle is excited to help the students learn and grow in a friendly, fun and safe environment.

 

 

Molly Rigby - Dance Teacher

Molly began dancing at age 6, training in styles such as jazz, hip hop, contemporary, modern expressive, musical theatre, ballet, tap, acro and samba. Molly completed one year of full-time training at The Edge Performers School in 2013. She then continued her studies at Jason Coleman’s Ministry of Dance, where she received her Diploma in Dance (Elite Performance). She has been privileged enough to be mentored by choreographers including: Jason Coleman, Marko Panzic, Yvette Lee, Adrian Ricks and Phill Haddad. Since graduating, Molly has worked continuously in the professional dance industry. She is also the Dance/Talent Manager at Danza Talent. Molly has performed at many corporate events for major companies such as Veuve Cliquot, Fashion Aid, NAB Bank, Gymnastics Australia, Aussie Home Loans and My Room CCC. She has also performed at the Australian Open, alongside Justice Crew for Nickelodeon. She has danced and managed the dancers and models at music festivals at Hisense Arena including: Transmission and Sulbculture. Molly has also worked in many television commercials and music videos. She is a resident freestyle dancer at Love Machine on Saturdays. Here she has been the supporting entertainment for artists such as G.R.L., Nelly, Mya, Ameriie, Blu Cantrell, Blackstreet, A$AP Rocky and Jeremih. Molly has the experience of teaching dance for 6 years now and cannot wait to teach her classes in 2017 and watch her student’s talent and self-confidence bloom this year.

 

Naomi King - Costume Manager

Naomi’s love for dance, costumes and all things sparkly started at the ripe old age of 4, when she first started Ballet at Sunbury School of Dancing. Soon after, came Tap, Jazz, Character and Contemporary, and at 15 years old she started teaching. Which she continued for a further 9 years whilst continuing her own training.

Naomi first learnt to sew from her mum and started making her own costumes from the age of 14, which soon evolved into making costumes for the whole dancing school.

From 2003 to 2005 she lived in London where she made Ballroom and Latin dancing costumes for some of the worlds top couples in the sport. During this time, she also worked on two BBC productions, ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ and ‘Strictly Ice Dancing’.

Upon returning to Australia, she continued her love of sparkly dresses and Swarovski crystals to work for melbourne based ‘June Designs’, Australias leading made to measure dressmaker for Ballroom and Latin dancing. Spending 7 years at June Designs, she has worked on 10 of the 12 series of ‘Dancing with the Stars’.

Throughout the years Naomi has also made for dance companies ‘KAGE Physical Theatre’ and ‘Chunky Move’ and childrens fashion label ‘Argee Bargee’. As well as her own designs for bridal and evening wear.
