Carly Del Mastro-Magri - Artistic Director

Carly is an accomplished performer who began dancing at age 4 at Karen Curlis School of Dance. In her teen years she danced with Western Academy of Dance and Lauren Down’s Dance Connection where she completed her CSTD Syllabus and gained experience performing on stage.


When Carly commenced secondary school she became heavily involved in the Rock Eisteddfod. In Year 11 and 12 she was appointed choreographer and worked alongside a team of choreographers teaching over 100 children in one class. The Rock Eiesteddfod was then selected to tour the UK with a performance group made up of the best Rock Eisteddfod Performers. 

After Secondary College Carly was offered a place with Tony Bartuccio Dance and Promotion. She studied extensively all areas of the performing arts on a full time basis. Upon graduating she was awarded a Certificate in Musical Theatre and Commercial Dance and was offered a teaching position at Tony Bartuccio’s Studio's. 

In addition she holds a VICFIT Certificate specializing in Fitness Instructing, Sports Coaching, Nutrition, Pilates Mat Level 1 Teaching Certificate and Certificate in Event's Marketing & Management. Carly continues to study and learn. Carly has many TV credits dancing in both film and television commercials and was a choreographic assistant for the Melbourne Commonwealth Games. Carly has performed cabaret shows in well known venues around Victoria. Carly has choreographed and performed in many corporate events and private businesses. 

Carly has been teaching children and adults of all ages for over 20 years. She has taught with Generation 7 as a Jazz, hip hop and singing Teacher and at Tony Bartuccio’s Dance & Promotion Centre teaching various dance styles. As a teacher Carly encourages students to find their own style, promoting individuality. With a personable approach to teaching she inspires confidence allowing students to reach their optimal performance level. Her eye for detail and dedication to dance is evident in her teaching style. Carly headed to New York City - Broadway and gained a certificate of achievement at Broadway Dance Center New York. She was taught by well know choreographers such as Mia Micheals, Brian Friedman & Cris Judd.

In 2008 she began a family, Carly says that motherhood has given her a new perspective of teaching dance and has a better understanding in the value of early childhood dance education in a positive safe learning environment.

She trusts that fusion one has an impact on all participants and continues to encourage adults and children to improve fitness through dance and regular exercise.


Sammi Mizzi - Administration Manager

With 4 children, 3 of them being little girls, Samantha has much experience in the dance Mum duties for so far 7 years. With her behind the scenes back stage knowledge and being a dance mum herself she is able to bring an understanding to the dance parents and students. With her pleasing manner and “front of house” position, she welcomes all students and parents into the Fusionone family. Her eldest daughter Mikaila has been dancing with Fusionone since the age of 5. 

Her husband Dean owns his own landscaping business to which Samantha does the administration role. As well as being a full time mum she is also an experienced beauty therapist of over 15 years and works in a little salon from her home.

With all this knowledge, multitasking, time management expertise and a close bond to Fusionone she was offered an amazing opportunity to take on the administration role to which she started in February 2018. 


Carli Odgers - Costume Manager

Carli has been involved with Fusionone for the past 9 years as a dancer, backstage assistant, administration assistant & dance mum. Carli worked as a Project Coordinator for Schiavello before she became an Integration Aide and Mother.
Carli poses the leadership skills required along with balancing quality and budget.  Carli has a keen eye for detail and will collaborate with the director, teaching staff and students to understand aesthetic considerations relating to the performances.  
Her daughter has been dancing at Fusionone since the age of 18 months and Carli enjoys watching her develop as a dancer and learn from the great teaching staff that Fusionone provides.

 

Shaelle Anderson - Dance Teacher

Shaelle started dancing when she was young and has loved it ever since.

Shaelle has graduated from a two year full time course at Jason Coleman's Ministry of Dance and now holds a Diploma of Dance and a Certificate IV in Dance Teaching and Management . Shaelle trained in the following styles hip hop, commercial, jazz, tap, ballet, musical theatre and contemporary. She has also trained in Brazilian styles including Samba, Afro jazz and Lambada.Shaelle has also been a qualified gymnastics coach for four years now. She is currently working at YMCA Whittlesea, teaching gymnastics. She is regularly working for professional dance companies on weekends to keep her passion for dance.Shaelle's studies have continued to grow and recently she has obtained her Certificate II in Fitness. 
Shaelle is excited to help the students learn and grow in a friendly, fun and safe environment.

Michelle Quadara - Dance Teacher

Michelle has been teaching in Craigieburn for 32 years, she was in fact one of my very first dance teachers. Dance really does connect us all in mysterious ways! I’m pretty sure when I was a child I didn’t anticipate that my first teacher would be teaching at my dance school in years to come. She has taught in Craigieburn, Sunbury and Kynetin & has also filled in at fusionone over the years. Her teaching experience is second to none & just by meeting Michelle you will see why all her students love her and why she has made such an impression in our community. 

 

Burak Cagin - Dance Teacher

Born in Australia, Burak is an interstate B-Boy champion and gifted choreographer. He began his dance training at the age of 17 after he was inspired by a film called Beat Street and met Peter Sette from Melbourne who is an international B-Boy champion. Peter assisted Burak find his passion in breakdancing especially in the dynamic of powerful moves. Burak was inspired by his “power moves" and was so impressed by the way other break dancers were "flying" that he
decided to create his artistic career as a dancer.

With his first own crew "Young master’s crew" he achieved lots of success and national as well as participating at events and winning several battles and breakdance events like "Gold Coast titles", and lots more. As a self-taught B-Boy, professionally trained dancer, Burak has a great variety and history of training in various styles and
continues his studies full time at Jason Colmen’s Ministry of dance. Burak continues his work by giving back and sharing his experience, teaching, inspiring and judging other dancers at events/competitions.

 

Candice Owen - Dance Teacher

Candice is experienced in ballet, jazz, rap, hip hop contemporary, lyrical, pointe, acro & tap. 

Candice has been to Sydney for dance week 3 times, she has won a scholarship in classical ballet, numerous performance awards. She did Grease the arena spectacular this year & has currently just finished the school musical “Camp Rock”. 

She has been dancing since she was 2 years old. She loves all types of dance, dancing is her clearly her passion! Candice has a bubbly personality and we know you will all love learning from her.
